Coaching FAQ

Coaching is a partnership with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and / or professional potential, which is particularly relevant in today's fast-paced and complex world. A kind of „Helping people help themselves“.

No. Counseling is generally based on problem solving by understanding what has happened in the past. Coaching is almost exclusively future-oriented by identifying the opportunities you have now in order to do your best and create a more desirable future.

Coaching includes conversation, self-reflection, finding solutions and acting. If you want someone to just listen to you or talk to you, coaching is not for you.

If you want to make changes and are willing to devote part of your time, energy and finance to it, you can benefit from a coach.

Coaching works best when you are open-minded, even if you don't know where to start. Coaching is a journey, not a quick fix. Therefore, it is important to be patient and trust the coaching process that evolves as needed.

A coach offers new perspectives for challenges, improves decision-making skills and helps you to achieve your goals more effectively.

Regardless of your circumstances, personal interests or professional goals, you can expect the following benefits from my coaching:

  • You make faster and deeper changes in your thinking, feeling and behavior
  • You will experience greater progress than if you did it alone
  • You will learn how to more easily access your inner peace, wisdom and strengths
  • You develop your self-confidence
  • You will feel understood and unconditionally supported
  • You will enjoy satisfying relationships
  • You will achieve more of your inner and outer potential.

Coaching is a process based on a so-called „appreciative approach“. This means that we focus on what works, what is wanted and what is needed to get there.

A written coaching agreement is concluded with all customers, in which our mutual roles and responsibilities are described. We start your chosen coaching program with a series of one-on-one coaching sessions, either in person, online or over the phone. First of all, we use reviews and questionnaires to determine your self-confidence, find out where you are and where you want to be personal and professional. We define some specific goals and intentions that you want to focus on and work on.

Between sessions, you will have reflections and actions that we agree will be most helpful to you. Through your ongoing self-examination, your learning, and my modeling of proactive approaches, we speak strategies and use them to overcome obstacles. The use of practical tools and the development of effective methods for self-administration are an important part of the coaching process. Customers have access to me by email and phone between sessions.

Yoga & Meditation FAQ

If you are new to yoga or are returning from a long absence, it is recommended to take a beginner yoga class or start with a one-to-one lesson.

Yes! The amazing thing about yoga is that we can offer many modifications and props to help you feel comfortable and safe with a variety of injuries and illnesses. However, it is always best to first consult your doctor or treating therapist / specialist and obtain their consent. If you have something in writing that outlines your limitations, we'll be happy to read it.

Keep in mind that if you return to yoga after a period of absence or injury, you shouldn't have any expectations, as your body will likely not be as conditioned as it used to be. But healing a problem shouldn't be a problem - healing the body. It just means being patient with yourself and working gently and steadily with your body. In yoga we always start where we are. Listen to your body, respect your limits and rest at any time.

Since we only work according to appointments, it is recommended to clarify and book this beforehand.

Yes, we provide mats, cushions and all the equipment you need for your yoga or meditation course for free. If you would rather bring your own yoga mat, meditation cushion or stool, you are welcome. All mats and aids are cleaned thoroughly after each course.

Yoga and meditation are practiced barefoot. Most yoga studios are shoe-free zones! If it's winter and you get cold feet, feel free to wear your socks indoors.

For yoga, we recommend comfortable clothing in which you can move freely. Make sure to wear clothes that are bag-like or long in the arms or legs, as this is in the way of some yoga postures. Active clothing, gym pants, shorts or leggings are fine.

For meditation, we ask that you do not wear loud jackets or stiff clothing that could disturb other participants if you need to move during the session.

Hypnose FAQ

Hypnotherapy is the process of using hypnosis to interact with the subconscious in an openly reflective process and bring about positive changes in your life. There are many techniques and styles and many uses of hypnotherapy. They all have several things in common: 1) a strong desire for change, 2) a state of deeply relaxed concentration and 3) language and visualization in relation to emotions.

This is another Hollywood myth. You are always in control and can always hear what's going on. Hypnosis is nothing more than a state of relaxed depth of field. It's a natural state that you enter at least twice a day (when you wake up and fall asleep!), And probably much more often. If at any point you are in a trance and want to be fully awake, you can simply count „1 - 2 - 3“ for yourself and open your eyes.

Myths about hypnosis, immortalized by Hollywood films, urban legends and fiction books, make people think about hypnosis, including that it is somehow dangerous. Some people have heard that you can go into a trance and not wake up. Or that the hypnotist can make you do things you don't want to do. These things are wrong. You are always in control and can „wake up“ again at any time if you wish or need to. The main task of the subconscious is to protect you and it is always in use.

Of course, you should choose a hypnotherapist who is well trained and trustworthy. Choose one that gives you a sense of trust. Hypnosis is a safe and useful procedure when done by an ethical and trained professional.

No, our subconscious protects us. It filters out unhelpful statements and suggestions that are not suitable for us. You can think clearly under hypnosis and also analyze clearly if you want. Talking and arguing during hypnosis is also possible. If you feel uncomfortable, you can open your eyes at any time, break off and also get up and walk away.

Yes and no. The word manipulation roughly means having something in hand. The therapist suggests a way. But what is really done internally is up to the customer. Therapeutic hypnosis should be about regaining your skills.

If the hypnotist acts against your beliefs, you will notice this even if you are under hypnosis. Of course, under hypnosis if you decide, that you do not wish to proceed, you can get up and go at any time you like.
